Read everyday. The family that reads together leads together.

Dear Readers,

Did you enjoy Tom Turkey? My family did--we had my wife and me, my MOM and DAD, my brother, my two nieces and their boyfriends, my nephew and my Aunt. The adults were in the kitchen upstairs, and the under 30 crowd sat and ate in the basement, downstairs.

NOW, it's Christmas. Bring your child to Barnes and Noble, and you should go through
the children's book section, TOGETHER. Many of the books have the age group listed on the inside cover. Sit down and read a book to your child. Have him/her turn the pages, and if need be, go over the pictures with him.

There will be two books I review next week. Can you guess what they are? CLUES: One book is about a mouse and a cookie, and the other is A Beginner Book, an I can read it all by myself, book. The author is P.D. Eastman.

My words of wisdom(first time) for this week, are: Go to the library with your child and get him a Library Card.

God bless.
Sincerely,

Ravenous Reader (a. k. a. Frankie)
